Brief background
  • To be added.

I would have preferred to go on a weekend but I had a weekday only. I went on an evening on a cold day and and was present after 6pm. Following are my observations from the mixed gender nude section only -

Visitor details
  • Weather - During the 3 days I was present, most of the days were overcast. It was quiet cold, with temperature approx 5 to 8 degrees Celsius but the enthusiasm of the visitors was interesting to see. There were heaters set up right next to many tables in the outdoor area, next to the pool, so that people could relax naked.

  • Total visitors - Felt like 100+ at a time (guess).

  • Entry - On spot and online available. Approx € 40 for a 4 hours visit on weekends.
  • No "couple only" entry rules.
  • No age restrictions. But those below 13 years need to be accompanied by adults, as per official wevsite.

  • Nudity rules - Swimwear was not allowed in the nude section and nobody was wearing any. Towels were allowed for sitting or lying down inside the saunas. Towels can be used to cover up as well. Towels or bathrobes are mandatory in the restaurant section.

  • Gender ratio - Women : men was roughly 1 : 5.

  • States of undress - Almost 100% men and women were naked in the swimming pools .The pool was outdoor and although the water was hot, there were not too many people inside.

  • Age bracket ratio - (18-40) : 40+ felt like less than 1 : 1 towards 18-40 group.
  • There was one girl who seemed below 18.
  • Racial composition - Only whites.

  • Ethnic composition - Majority were Austrians, it seems (German speaking). I could hear many of them speaking German whikr interacting as a group in a sauna room over an Aufguss ritual by a young girl, who was probably among the visitors.

  • Interaction level - Low to moderate. People mostly go there to relax and not to socialize, so most of the sauna rooms are quiet. However, in some infusion saunas, the sauna masters speak in German while fanning the hot air towards guests and the environment can become a bit interactive. I don't remember exactly if there was any Sauna master available there, but one of the visitors, it seems, a young girl, probably around 14 or so, was doing it for the guests.

  • Attractions and activities - Various types of saunas, but much limited, as compared to Therme Erding, in Munich, Germany.

  • Sexual activities observed? No.

  • Body sizes ratio - Less than 1 : 1 towards the slim side (guesstimate, too many people to calculate exactly).

  • Solo visitors present? Yes, men definitely. There also were solo women probably but due to sauna rooms mostly being quiet places, it is difficult to often find out if two people came together or not.
