Results of Reddit Survey #10 - Online platforms and gender inclusiveness

Due to Instagram and Facebook's policies, many nudist initiatives face issues as they get banned. We came to know that one of our dear friends, The Universal Naturist Symbol, also got banned on Instagram, even without posting any nude pics. This means not only showing nude pics, but promoting the concept of nudism could also lead to one getting banned.

As a result, many initiatives boycott Instagram and some even protest against them. They move to platforms like Mewe.

Few days back, we conducted this survey on Reddit, to look at the bigger picture of such protests and what the community could be losing out on. One such important topic is gender ratio of participants and the scarcity of nudist women.

• Overcast.

• Total number of visitors?
• Probably 20 (visible outside).
• It was hard to tell because it was widely scattered groups, I'd say about 20-30 in the resort itself / surrounding community, although who knows how many just stayed in their apartments like me and my wife.

• I vaguely remember.

• Prior booking needed.

Nudity rules 

• Nudity rules? (Clothing optional/mandatory within some parts/entire venue)
• Clothing optional.

Gender ratio 

• Gender ratio of visitors? (women : men)
• Women : men was vaguely 20 : 80.
• How accurate is your gender ratio information?
• I vaguely remember.

Age bracket ratio 

• What was the ratio of people aged (18 to 40) : 40+?
• All older, at least 40+.

• Rough sampling, of some section of the crowd.

Solo visitors were present? 

• Both males and females. 

Sexual activities observed? 

• No over sexual behavior but the crowd was clearly all swingers.
• At night, the conversation was distinctly sexual.

• Vaguely, 100% naked among men, 50% among women.

• Only went once and it was overcast the entire time, can't really comment on this.

We @thenudistcalendar on Instagram, have been publishing visitor stats in bullet points from first hand visits to nudist destinations (our USP), since 2019. The goal is to guide newbie nudism enthusiasts (particularly from prudish cultures like India who seek a plethora of information, usually different from the typical western nudist travelers) in order to decide their next global nudist travel destination based on the time of year they plan. Cultures like India have a huge potential of contributing to nudist travel in the coming decade.

Now we are inviting user contributions (user submitted reviews). For attracting them, we are organizing a cash giveaway contest.
