Looking for sponsorships for $25+ Cash Giveway!

We @thenudistcalendar on Instagram, have been publishing visitor stats in bullet points from first hand visits to nudist destinations (our USP), since 2019. The goal is to guide newbie nudism enthusiasts (particularly from prudish cultures like India who seek a plethora of information, usually different from the typical western nudist travelers) in order to decide their next global nudist travel destination based on the time of year they plan. Cultures like India have a huge potential of contributing to nudist travel in the coming decade.

Now we are inviting user contributions (user submitted reviews). For attracting them, we are organizing a cash giveaway contest. While we are looking for sponsorships from brands/businesses for these now, for return of which we would give shoutouts to the sponsors in our posts, we would also be happy to have our patrons fund us directly.
Cheers!

Detailed review

Following information, stats and images are as collected from our Instagram follower from the USA, @jayroewildinwyo. As this visitor made multiple visits to this destination, during various seasons of the year, some additional information are provided in this blog.

Note - Details in user submitted reviews are as provided by the reviewer and are not verified first hand by @thenudistcalendar.

How was the weather and temperature? (Sunny/overcast/cloudy)
  • June: Beautiful, sunny days in the 70s and low 80s with occasional isolated afternoon thunderstorms.
  • September: Generally sunny days with temps in the upper 60s and low 70s.
  • October: Signs of winter coming with trees changing colors. Highs still can get into the low 70s. Be prepared for early snowstorms.
  • March: still snow on the ground and some campsites inaccessible due to the snow but access to all the hot springs available. Generally sunny days and chilly nights. Daytime highs were in the 60s Fahrenheit.

Visitors
  • Total number of visitors?
  • Never more than 130 when I visited in 2019 as the venue places limits on visitors allowed to maintain a quiet and peaceful experience. Since Covid this number may have been reduced.
  • How accurate is your total visitors info?
  • Very accurate, calculated across the entire crowd.

Entry
  • Any entry rules/prior requirements/restrictions at the destination? (Entry fees or prior booking or need of affiliation to any nudist association or singles not allowed)
  • Valley View limits the number of users into the premises, so it is best to plan ahead, make the necessary contribution to reserve your accommodation in advance and show up before the gate closes. Covid further restricted users per day. See their website for most up to date information.

Nudity rules
  • Nudity rules? (Clothing optional/mandatory within some parts/entire venue)
  • Valley View is a family friendly naturist venue that is clothing optional on the entire property. The property extends beyond the development around the hot springs and also is bordered by thousands of acres of public BLM and National Forest lands.

Gender ratio
  • Gender ratio of visitors? (women : men)
  • 1:4 (Rough sampling, of some section of the crowd).

Age bracket ratio
  • What was the ratio of people aged (18 to 40) : 40+?
  • 1:4.
  • This can vary depending on time of year. During spring break there are more 18-30 year olds than usual. During the summer when families are traveling there are more children on the premises.
  • It was 1:6 during other season.
  • How accurate is your age bracket info?
  • Rough sampling, of some section of the crowd.

Solo visitors were present?
  • Both males and females.

Sexual activities observed?
  • Nothing sexual, cuddling/kissing at max.

States of undress
  • Percentages of men and women were completely naked - write separately for men and women)
  • Men: 80%+ Women: 65% (Rough sampling, of some section of the crowd).

Racial/ethnic composition
  • What was the major segment in the racial and ethnic composition? Races - whites/blacks/browns/yellows/others, ethnicities -  country/ethnicity or speakers of a language
  • Predominately Caucasian but there were other races and ethnicities represented. (Rough sampling, of some section of the crowd).

What was the body sizes ratio? (Ratio of plus sizes to others)
  • 3:1 (I vaguely remember).

Weekday vs weekend feel? (If you have visited on weekends as well as weekdays, you may specify how much different would the vibes be?)
  • Weekdays would be better.

Overall good season, time to visit? (based on your visit/visits, if you could suggest a broader span of months etc.)
  • Valley View is situated at the base of the Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range and is 7000+ feet above sea level. This means the best weather for being comfortably nude in nature is late May through early September.

Is the venue moderated?  (Management/volunteers/moderators present to prevent any untoward activities/behaviour)
  • No moderation that I witnessed. You may encounter venue personnel checking on camp sites or inspecting the many hot spring ponds. They are always friendly, courteous and helpful.

Facilities/attractions at the destination? e.g. massage parlours, gym etc.
  • Valley View is a family friendly naturist venue with several hot spring ponds, pool, sauna, tent sites, car/small rv sites without hookups, charming cabins, community pavilion and a welcome center.
  • Hiking opportunities exist in every direction and include an abandoned mining town which is known for its cave that migrating bats use. Hiking to the cave to see the bats fly out is a popular activity that can be done alone or with a scheduled group.
  • Star gazing is also a favorite activity and there is sometimes a telescope set up to use.
  • Massage services can be scheduled directly with independent certified massage therapists.
  • Consult their website for most up to date information.

Day visitors allowed?
  • Valley View limits the number of users into the premises, so it is best to plan ahead, make the necessary contribution to reserve your accommodation in advance and show up before the gate closes. Covid further restricted users per day. See their website for most up to date information.

Difficulty level? (Difficulty to get naked)
  • Easy.
Interaction level?
  • Easy/high
